Matthew received his BA in History and Literary Arts from Brown University in 2018 and graduated with his MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2020.

Matthew was born and raised in Marin County, CA and is now a screenwriter based in Brooklyn, NY. He stays awake at night hoping to give queer characters the attention they deserve (and because he’s sensitive to caffeine).
